Soulstride Sanctuary Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Soulstride Sanctuary. Your generosity helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome draft horses and offer community-based education and healing programs. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to fund our mission. This Refund Policy explains when and how donation refunds may be issued.

1. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable
   Because donations are immediately allocated toward our rescue operations, horse care, sanctuary needs, and community programs, all donations made to Soulstride Sanctuary are considered final and non-refundable.

2. Incorrect or Unauthorized Donations
   If you believe you donated the wrong amount, made a duplicate donation, or your donation was made without your authorization, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction. We will review the situation and process a refund if appropriate.

3. Platform Processing
   All donations are processed through secure third-party providers such as GiveButter. Refunds may also be subject to the policies of the payment processor or platform used at the time of donation. Processing fees may not be refundable depending on the platform’s rules.

4. Event or Program Payments
   If the sanctuary offers paid events, classes, or program registrations in the future, separate refund terms may apply and will be listed on the event page or registration form at the time of purchase.

5. How to Request a Refund

   Please include your name, donation date, donation amount, and the reason for your request.

6. Tax-Deductible Receipts
   If a refund is issued for a donation, any previously delivered tax-deductible receipt for that donation will no longer be valid. You are responsible for updating your tax records accordingly.

7. Changes to This Policy
   Soulstride Sanctuary may update this Refund Policy from time to time. All updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
